  • The Raven that stole a kittiwake egg.<br /> <br /> What a lucky capture from a distance of 35-50 yards and on a boat in a semi-rough sea!
  • A Murre just taking off after the boat approched it. These and the puffins are extremely fast flying birds and hard to lock on.

  • One of my best close ups of the Tufted Puffin. I was really suprised that I got locked on and had some nice detail.
  • Another shot of the twins. We saw these two several times during the day just about everyday we were at Lake Clark!
  • Lazy bear. Boy there were many an afternoon when I could have just layed around in the beautiful meadow and acted like this bear. Ken Conger keep us plenty busy with many outings.
  • This was an older bear that we photograph in the evening light. I took many photos but this one was the best because of how the shadow and light plays on the bear.
  • Wow, we thought these two grizzlies going to get into it right in front of us. I think that they decided it wasn't worth the effort after a few minutes and just walked away from each other. What a series of photos that would have produced if they decided to put on a fighting show for us.
  • I am not sure what this bear was trying to do. She is searching for razor clams and digging deep. Looks like she either senses or smell something.
  • Pavlov the bear! Got tired of us taking her picture so she wandered off into the meadow!

  • Okay Pavlov is putting on a show. I am not sure if she is airing it out or just proud of her bod!
  • Pavlov is getting tired of us taking her picture. So I guess she is camera shy and just trying to get us to go away.
  • Bears looks really neat running in the water. I was lucky to capture a few nice ones.
  • This is one of my favorites from the Lake Clark NP tour. I think I am going to frame this one and hang it.
