  • Claming bear and itsreflection. Normally you should always focus on the eyes but when these bears are digging for clams they don't look up often. I like this one because of the reflection.
  • Oh I am looking for fish! This bear smells the scent of red salmon that was caught in this boat. Unluckly for the bear the guys emptyed the boat of the fish which we had for dinner one night.
  • This one found a skate that the fishermen had thrown overboard! Nice meal for him.

  • We walked the mud flats to get to these clamming bears. We must of spent several hours during the week following these guys to get photos like this. This photo was taken by Becky.
  • Early morning one day these two twin 3 year olds were playing in a small grassy field. I had fun watching them ans was able to capture a few nice photos.

  • You would find these grizzlies in the streams and meadows. This one photographed by Becky decided that he had enough and ran away from us.

  • Grizzly bear checking out the Silver Salmon Creek Lodge's boat for fish. Boat had just returned earlier from a fishing trip and the smell of fish was strong.

  • Becky got a real nice photo of this standing bear. The bears stood alot but most of the time I wasn't ready to capture the action. This turned out to be a great picture, one I wish I had a chance to take.
