African Fish Eagle, Lake Navasha, Kenya - #

For serious eagle photographers this was one of the most exciting times of our Kenya safari. I would highly recommend this experience due to the close proximity that the guide gets you to the fishing eagle’s final grab.

One of the most exicting photo sessions of our trip to Kenya. Lake Navasha for the African Fishing Eagle. We loaded up in small boat and traveled to the other side of the lake. Soon coming upon eagles perched high up in the trees. The guide would then provide us with an oppurtunity to get an eagle flying in to grab a fish. Most of the times the eagle would get within 25-35 feet of us. Using a 70-200mm f/2.8 zoom allow us to nail the shots most all the time.
